Happy Birthday to Stephen!

Yep yesterday our firstborn turned 16!  We had tried for nearly four years before being blessed with our wonderful baby.  I still can't believe sixteen years have gone by.  How can he be a sophomore when it seems like only yesterday we were in high school?  Those four years of trying to have a baby, miscarriages, infertility all of it seemed like we'd never come out of it.  Then we had one baby and never had any problems again.  Three babies and sixteen years later it seems like such a long time ago.  Since this is a celebration of Stephen, I will say he has made us so proud to be his parents.  He has worked so hard at everything he does.  From his sports to school he really works hard and has accomplished so much.  I didn't think I'd be ready for  him to drive when the time came, but I can honestly say it will be a big help when he can drive himself (oh and maybe his sisters a bit).  It's been a lot of fun watching him grow into the young man he has become.  Each stage has been such a joy.  Happy Birthday Stephen!!
